The architecture in a church building can be amazing. During my lifetime I have been fortunate enough to visit many house’s of worship around the world. I think the interesting thing about churches is how much stock people put in them. I myself have been going through quite a frustrating time recently as I am trying to find a decent place to worship.

I often compare finding a church to going on a blind date. I get nervous before I attend a service just like a date. You are really hoping that this relationship is going to be the one that knocks you off your feet, but it is never that way really. They usually try and wow you with beauty and pageantry in hoping you will be convinced in thinking they are the one for you. In the end, they are probably just after your money!!

Not to be so cynical but I am really having a difficult time finding a church. I have recently attended one that I think will be a nice fit for me, but just like a relationship, it is going to take some work. I will say this though, beauty is definitely on the inside when it comes to churches, not all places of worship may have the best exteriors, but once you get one the inside, you realize that the people are what make it beautiful. I have found some great places in my time that did not look like the Salisbury Cathedral, but I would give the world to be around those people for just an hour!! (No offense to the people of Salisbury, I did not attend services their!!)
